The Patient Portal is a website that patients use to interact with the clinic. Patients are taken to the Portal when they receive the new patient intake questions via email. After they establish credentials they can perform multiple tasks including sending messages to the doctor, updating communications preferences, viewing upcoming appointments and making payments.

Second way to Send a Portal link Go to Edit Information and Utilities and Send Patient Portal Link

Email Patient will receive to setup the Portal and to fill out the Case History Options that were selected

Send Existing Patient Portal Link
Pull up patient in Patient Search and off of the wand go to Edit Information
Click Utilities and Send Patient Portal Link
Confirm the Patient Email Address and click OK

Check mark the History Options you want Patient to fill in or UnCheck everything to create a Portal Account Only and click Continue

Email sent to patient if all the boxes for Case History Options are all unchecked

Portal Landing Page
After the patient completes their intake questions they are directed to the Portal landing page. This is also where they will land when they log into the Portal anytime they log in. By letting patients know how to get to the Portal and the advantages of accessing it you build a stronger relationship by providing another way for them to interact with the clinic.

Clicking Pay Statement will allow the patient to initiate payment and/or view statement.
Making Statement payment

If there is a card on file through saving it at the office you will see it under the Select Payment Method.
If the patient wishes to Store the card for future use, the box is there to check to have new card as a saved Payment Method going forward


Viewing Statement
You have to be integrated with Fortis to have the ability to make a payment through the Patient Portal
